I have a problem at school that I'm not doing very well. For the average students, everyone gets B's and A's with a few C's. Academics are very important at this school, and I just can't get it!
What are great tips of studying and memorizing? Also, what are some information so I can get good grades. I need a lot of help and I just wish I can start over, but it's impossible, so I'll start here. I don't do well on tests and my I normally get a C or lower on tests and that's not good! I do ok on homework, but that's easy!

Thank you!

Whatever you do when you study, put yourself in the same state of mind at test time. If you munch down on junk food when studying, eat some right before the test. If you drink soda while studying, drink soda right before the test.

Besides having the good study habits suggested above, what I suggest puts you into the same mental state as when you study and you will be more likely to remember information during test time. This was suggested to me by a health ed teacher in college - and it works!

Study, and then study some more. try to memorize things using association or acronyms ...My Dear Aunt Sally.....multiply, devide, add, subtract. everyone knows that one. get plenty of rest before tests. relax at test time, some very intelligent people do poorly on tests because of anxiety. Good luck

The only way to get through it is to keep working, set yourself a study timetable and stick to it. Highlight whats important, or anything you're having trouble understanding and focus on that, if you're still stuck, talk to your teachers, they get paid to help you!

Study hard.
Take good notes.
Write your own notes, in your own words, you will remember and understand better that way.
READ everything assigned.

Keep little post notes of key things you want to remember, or will help your mind trigger to remember.
