well i'm not sure if it is normal or nor but if it hasnt been long since she had her very first period I would say it is normal at that age they are still new to all of it and might change it alot more often my teen age daughters did.

I think so, that is like 5 pads a day. ! in the morning 3 in the day and 1 for bed. Sounds about right

Depends on the size of pads you're using, i guess i'd be normal if you were using really small ones.. To me it sounds like a lot, considering i usually only go through 2 or 3 during my heavy days... talk to your mom hun, Good luck ;)

i think you should leave them on for a little bit more time. i only use up about 4 pads per day.well, it also depends on the absorbency of the pad...

probably, because pads dont soak up as much blood as tampons do. so when using pads, you're changing it up to every hour or so, and with tampons you change it about every 2 or 3 hours. i suggest switching to tampons. but if you do, never get cardboard tampons, they make you sore inside and are harder to put in. get the easy glide plastic ones. hope this helps! :D

I have always had a heavy flow and that is perfectly normal. Everyone is different so if your friends don't use that many that doesn't mean something is wrong with you.
