What are your thoughts or experiences on this? Are Russian or Eastern European women more selfish than American women?...more humble?...anything else?

ah come on. The previous answerer is generalizing.
I had lots of girlfriends in russia who were the nicest. It is hard to find a good man in russia, many are alcoholics. Men in russia usually don't want a family, just casual sex. In the city where i come from we had lots and lots of single women, esp, ladies of 30-40.
it is not about russian women, it is about a person taken separately what is she like. You could find a really nice person who will take care of you every day and love you and devote her life to you if you just treat her well. You might find a *****, all people are different.
I had a friend who spent about $10 000 on his "russian bride" and she deceived him finally. I know many really good families with russian wives also...

Probably what you are talking about is really a scam. Steer clear of it unless you want to lose your shirt.
