In Terry Reids' song "Seed of Memory" He refers to "Marlena in cool satin sashes.." Does anyone know who he is referring to?

Aye. Marlena is a beach whore from Michigan. She used to sell her "wares" at the Warren Dunes in Michigan. She's a FINE merchant. No malice to her.
