Yeah. That seems to happen to me alot. One time, in my old school, there was this girl named Lauren. She was pretty geeky, and she was a little"heavy". I had NO problem with that. But, the people at school, especially the popular ones, HAD a problem with it. They always asked me, "Do you like Lauren?" and I would say "Well, sort of. She has a nice heart." Inside I was saying to myself "She has a nice heart, unlike you!" But, I didn't want to start an argument. Lauren was kind of, what you call "needy". It got annoying sometimes because I was "nice" to her, and nobody else was. She didn't have many friends, but I was going to be there for her. So, this is my example of your question, "Has someone or someone you know ever been in a situation where you had to hold your head up when everyone around you had there heads lowered?" I hope that this example answers your question.

True that. There are situations I run into where I wont bend my neck like everyone around me. Stand up to injustice and all that snazz.
