i played my violin in public for a LONG time and got NO money. i play very advanced-orchestra and everything. i'm also sad for other reasons. please look at my other questions. thanks. ps i'm in highschool.

You mean your a loser, not looser. HOW DO YOU FIGURE THAT ? My son played for years when he was in college chamber music, a group of four, on the campus and at wedding dinners, also when he was in high school. It's a gift to play a musical instrument.

Were you on a street corner or something? Why did you expect to get money? Did OTHER people know to give money? It's not real clear. If you are playing advanced music, I'm sure you're quite talented. Don't be so hard on yourself hun.
