I'm on props crew for the play my school is doing (Meet Me in St. Louis). how can I get realistic looking chicken hearts that 2 girls can eat on stage? also, where is a good place to get a black fan for one of the girls?

Just use a pc of chicken breast......the audience won't be able to see that well....they will just see that she IS eating something.

For the fan try a party store....or one of the halloween shops that are in your area.

Chicken hearts? Try beef liver cut to the size of the chicken hearts. In a production I was in there were no black fans to be found. Our propmaster used the old theater standby - he bought the white one and spray painted it black!

Make jell-o jigglers using black cherry jello. Gross and realistic.
