It's because many of the questions in a standard IQ test are spacial-relations questions. It has been a documented fact for years now that men deal better with spacial relations than women do.

Don't get too excited...There's an average 4 point difference. Four points doesn't mean much. Chances are that if they did the same testing again on a different batch of people, that this number would swing back four points in the women's favor. After all, most political polls can only be accurate to plus or minus 3%. The four points is on a scale of 200, so it's really only a 2% swing.

Even if it were true, what difference would it make. We study populations, but we deal with people. No finding of science need set any moral policy on how we treat people. An explanation of something is not an endorsement of anything. Woman are about 10^100 times as attractive as men. Does this give them some advantage, fillip or power they did not have before? Of course not. Your information is not as earth shaking as you might believe.

most IQ test are (especially older versions) are created by men and therefore are inheritanly biased. Also IQ tests are specific knowledge, very black and white. If women saw the world like that human race would be extinct

i bet the study was conducted by men. it seems to be that whoever sponsors the study gets results in their favor, like the CA milk advisory board sponsoring a study that milk helps people lose weight, when it fact it can make you gain weight.

it is not in the gender. It has to do with genetic influence of the parents as well as how the environment nrture the person.

FYI, almost 60% part of the person comes from their biological mom.

Blaim your mom if your stupid but blaim yourself if your dumb.
