I got my first job at 15, calling patients at a local doctors office. i come from a single parent home, so i decided it was time to start making my own spending money. its good to get a first job early so you can start building up good references for the future

My first job was at 11 setting pins at a bowling alley. Was suppose to be 12 to do it but I fudged on my age. My parents didn't care if I worked and was happy that I did what I was doing if just to keep out of getting into trouble. They had mechanical manual machines back then where you had to load the machine and then push it into place to lower the pins into position. Was a real hard thing to do and believe me you were dog tired when finished. Made a whole 9 cents per line doing it.

I was 12 and in jr high. I worked in a clothes factory making sure that the clothes wasn't defected. I would go to school at 8:15 off from school at 2:45 go home do some homework and be at work by 4:00pm and get off at midnight. It was hard. I don't know what I was thinking.. worst, I don't know what my parents were thinking, its not like we were in need of the money!

15 I worked with my ex brother in law doing yard cleanup and earned 200 bucks. My first real job was the Air Force that I signed up for.

12 and I worked in a swamp cutting out brush. Disgusting job. I had no choice but to get a job since I had to support myself due to lack of a home.

I havnt had a first job(im 15) so in a few months, when im gonna get a job working w/ animals!(im an animal luvr!)

I was 16 and got my own secretarial job,I also went to college.

I was 14 and it was the Summer Youth Employment Program.I wanted to be independent.It was great.

I was 12 and it was at a Golf Course. I chose it and I still work there.
