Burlington is a big college town and we are smack dab in the middle of tourist season because of the foliage. The police are hoping anyone who saw her or the red jeep cherokee driven by the guy that was last seen with her will come forward and give information.
Her body was found a couple of days ago and while they have the suspect they are still looking for evidence that concretely links him to her murder.
And there was also the fear, I'm sure, that her disappearance was linked to the disappearance of a few other girls from this area that have many thinking there might be a serial killer/predator on the loose.
