i wanted to set up a business as a cement broker when i graduate from university the only problem is that i dont have much experience in the industry and i wanted to ask if the producer that i want to work as an agent for will require me to have expertise in the area ?? do producers usually require you to have some experience before signing a brokerage contract ?? please help me

Nope.

Don't go into a business you have no experience in.

Get experience first, then go into business.

The industry is not really important. You need a great grasp for business and the fundamentals of running and growing a business. Check out a book called "instant cashflow" or "the business coach" by Brad Sugars. These will give you some great ideas of what you need to know to get started. You can look the books up online.
