Hi. The DIAMETER of the Earth is about this number. The circumference is about 3.14 times this number. Divide this answer by 55 and you have the number of hours.

That figure is the diameter.

The distance around the equator is about 24800 miles.

Divide that by 55 on your calculator.

Approx 450 hours.

(You do realise you have a calculator under "accessories" on your computer. Also, I hope you realise there are a couple of oceans in the way. )
