To dump a friend?

My friend is really annoying. She bosses me around and tells me who to sit to and who to talk to, of course I don't really listen to her. She eats of my plate everyday. She'll grab an apple and eat it and slob all over it and give it back to me. When I tell her it's gross she gets mad at me and harasses me for the rest of the day. The only reason I have to be her friend is because our parents are friends and I get in trouble if I mean to her. So what's a nice way to dump a "friend".

ha, i had the same exact problem. this girl i knew was really annoying. &i had to be friends with her, since our parents were good friends. &my parents did know that i didn't like her, so they said try to at least be nice to her.

i was tired of her, so i decided to start hanging out with other people. &i eventually forgot about her. we get to school &home together. &i just ignore her.

she's going to eventually forget about you.

The nicest way to "dump" a freind is to get involved somewhere else. Join a club or start doing a sport. Then you have an excuse to not hang around her, and your parents won't be upset.
I know that it seems like you would just be avoiding your problem, but I don't see any reason to tell her that you think she is annoying and you don't want to be her friend. It will just hurt her and most likey everyone around you will think that you are a jerk.
Just try to spend less time around her.

First, don't lie. The lie will catch up with you and cause even bigger problems. Who likes covering up a mess that could have been prevented?

Let her know exactly what it is that bothers you. No white washing, be plain, but kind.

Tell her she is a good friend but you want to hang out with someone else once in awhile.

If she continues to be gross, harassing, and obnoxious, find a permanent new friend(s)!

If she is bossy in that sort of way.. maybe instead of you ending the friendship.. you should find a way for her to want to end the friendship, that way she feels like she is in control.. If you try to quit being friends with her, it probably won't work, she'll harrass you, but if you do something that you know she can't forgive.. (like go kiss her crush) she'll never forgive you and then you won't have to put up with her annoying qualities any more..

There is no nice way to dump a moocher like this. And she isn't your friend because friends don't treat other people like that. She sounds like a user. Just stop hanging around her and ignore her. Eventually she will get the message.

Have a talk to her. Ask her why is she treating you this way, and ask her, what if you treat her the way she treats you? how would you feel? tell her that she's hurting your feelings. If she thinks that she's not wrong and doesnt listen to you, i think you should slowly avoid her and join another group of nice buddies. Please do not make her ruin your day. She should learn how to appreciate friends. =) Cheer up ok! Life has to move on.

Easy, make u her enemy.. he he he... that way its her who's dumping u rather than vice versa.

so what u do is just do what she doesn't like,maybe, eat off her plate ( if she likes that then be gross ! put the unchewables back on plate.. urghhhh! )

You could tell her that you weren't just thinking your friendships is working so great and you could also talk to your parnets about how you don't like her and why you don't like her

just tell her that you don't like the way she is acting......tell her how would she feel if you do the same thing to her......and if she keeps doing it.......tell her that you and her shouldn't.......be friends for awhile......that you need space
