And they never get cancer.
They have their place in the world. You can't wish them extinct for doing what they do in their world. Any more than wishing every lion, tiger and bear (OH MY) were extinct. People have to learn to get along with the environment.
I wouldn't want them extinct if for no other reason than that they should be studied to find out why they don't get cancer.

I think I learnt that when I was six...
I wouldn't care if they were extinct, the beaches wouldn't be closed down as much just because there spotted a hundred miles off shore.
If I was on a boat and my child fell over...I wouldn't let a child tat couln't swin, take care of themselves, or stay away from the side of the boat with me on a boat if sharks in the area jackass, that would be bad parenting

Did you also know you can immobilise a shark by putting your hand on it's nose, in and out of the water.
Because all of the electrical senses on a shark are received through their noses, when a human touches it, it causes sensory overload and they go into a trance and you can do whatever you want with them... Nothing naughty like lol but you can hold them and stuff.
The ocean is the sharks domain... If we enter it, it's our fault we get attacked, but because sharks don't have hands they use their mouths to feel... And when they realise what a human is they spit it out, that is why most shark attack victims live.

since i am a shark diver, i would be horrified if they became extinct. they have been given a stigma they do not deserve. sharks are amazing creatures. i have dived with great whites and tigers with no cage and i am still here! they are apex predators and without them, life in our oceans would be nothing like it is today. go to www.sharktrust.org for more information. they are a brilliant charity who do a lot of shark conservation work. xx

Pigeons have also been around since the dinosaurs...it is said that THEY are the oldest living species. Can't say one way or another myself - I may be very, very old...but I'm not THAT old!
