I think it's a sad situation for family, friends, colleagues and team mates of this young man. It's sad when anyone dies. It was also sad for the people of NY, not knowing what could possibly be happening. I hope everyone is able to cope and come to terms with the loss. It's always harder when someone is so young and of course its only those left behind that suffer.
The best thing any of us can do is offer a thought for anyone that was effected by the events of today and wish them well.
BTW - Corey's instructor died in the accident as well, so I don't think suicide OR alcohol or drugs were involved. It was just an unfortunate accident.

Fits of all, I would like to persoanlly kick Xae *** for being a dumbass careless ************...I hope when you die nobody ******* comes to your funeral and I wish everyone that passes by I wish they spit on your grave!
Corey wasn't the best pitcher but he was a good one, he had several games where he played like an all-star and I just feel bad for his team, his wife, his family...may he rest in peace!

It really puts perspective into all the petty trash talk about the Yankees from both sides. I think many people will see the difference between what is a game and what is real life tragedy. Its sad anyone at his age, with his family and future ahead of him ends this way. Though it was doing something he loved. Flying.

It's always sad when anyone dies specially in an accident. This will be a terrible time for his wife and son as well as the rest of his family and the Yankee organization. I understand he was a really nice guy. A major loss to baseball.

Tragic when anyone dies, but I will not be distraught over it. With the vast number of people that die everyday, I cannot be sad just because he was in the limelight.
