I forgot to add that most people I know who have them have the profile set to private and the main photo is usually something like thier childs fav cartoon charecter..
I think it would be stupid to make a myspace for a little kid and make it public

Why do the babies need a MySpace. Send the relative pictures in the mail or over the computer(e-mail) Don't add to the crazies out there looking for children, private page or not....

Stupid. Why does a baby need MySpace? I'm sure by the time they grow up enough to use the internet, something better will be used.

I have heard of family Myspace pages for posting family photos. But, Myspace pages for a single child is just something that is asking for trouble. My SIL has told me that pedophiles can actually pull a picture off of a page and use software that allows them to do nasty stuff to children's pictures. Be wise and don't let your kid's information and pictures become fantasy fodder for some sicko pedophile mind.

I have a few friends who have created myspace pages for their babies........personally i think it's not right. One friend had her babies pictures on there and they got stolen. Then used in a scam somewhere else where this couple was trying to "sell" the baby in the pictures as their own child. So......yeah I think it's extremely stupid, but to each his/her own!!!

Completely stupid! If you want a site to make for your baby then you should try babiesonline. They have great options and you can make it private or public. Below is a link to the site where you register to make the site and the link the their main page.

I think it's a great way to let friends and family who don't live in the area see the baby. I agree though, private's the way to go.

I think time is better spent interacting with the child then droning out on a website.
The only people that give a hoot about your kid are its relatives.
Think I would have to go "stupid" on this one.

no i think anyone under 18 should not have an account with myspace. If you are going to have one set it to private (like i do).
read about safety about having your profile on there at http://www.myspace.com

Extremely stupid. It's bad enough older kids have them, let alone an infant. That's just asking for pedophiles...
