i am really cold .. i have 2 sweaters on and 5 blankets around me and am still freezing... can't turn on the heater b/c it costs so much... and i can't snuggle up to my b/f b/c i don't have one...What can i do to warm myself up?

Try getting extra insulation in your place. In the past, I have put up clear plastic in front of all my windows to seal out drafts. Check to see if your attic has enough insulation. At the same time make sure that there is air that is being vented from your attic. If there is a venting problem, moisture is trapped and it feels a lot colder than it actually is. Good Luck!

OK, hon. You said something VERY disturbing to me. If you can't turn on the heat 'cause it costs too much $, well.. my calendar says Oct. I would think that getting that heat on would be a real priority here, ;;; If you can't afford heat, they have agencys that will pay for you. If you just sit and wait for spring, well... I lived in Fairbanks, Alaska years ago. Rule: layer your clothing, cover head, hands and feet first, and keep moving.

If you're not sick, wellllllllll............when I was in Patagonia with my gf at the time and she was freezing, and couldn't make her own heat because she hadn't eaten any calories at all in the past day, we had sex. That actually warmed MY body enough to heat HER too.
Now if you've been eating normally, you could heat up your own body by masturbating....
