Do you straighten, or process your hair?

The reason I'm asking is because a friend of mine wants to do it, I said "keep it natural"

One:Why are you asking that question? Two:I "try" to straighten my hair, but i got that beautiful black nappy hair. so it doesn't get straight. I love it!

I prefer to go natural. Processing it damages it in the long run. I only straighten my hair with flat irons when I don't want to wear it in a fro, cornrolls, or braids.

Why not have your friend braid his/her hair.
Yes, keeping the hair natural is the best thing for it.
