I am looking for colored contacts, and my perscription is expired. On the internet they ask for my doctors info. Do they really contact my doctor?

Not sure if they contact the doctor, but if your Rx is expired, you may do more hard than good if you don't get it updated and it has changed.

Yes they confirm the prescription and the expiration date.

I don't know about some of the other companies, but www.1800contacts.com and www.justlenses.com do. I suppose they have to cover their own butts in case someone orders lenses that are totally off rx and mess up their eyes.

Good luck!

Yes, they confirm your prescriptions. It's best to go get an exam and a new prescription.
