I don't care what the motivation was. Premeditated murder should always carry the death penalty.

Are those the only things that deserve the death penalty in your opinion?
If you kill someone, and it's not in self-defense, you should die. Why does it matter if you killed them because they are gay, black, Hispanic, they cheated you out of money, they slept with your lover, or just because they looked at you funny? All of those things are unjustified killings.
I am sick and tired of special treatment for special groups of people. If you want everyone to be equal, if you want racism to stop, then you must stand for equal treatment for EVERYONE.

as a matter of fact, this is what is listed as a hate crime. and those do come with stricter sentences as opposed to an act that had nothing to do with race. most times this crime does get the life sentence unless there are other circumstances involved. which will only worsen the sentence such as death

It depends on whether or not the crime was racially motivated, premeditated, etc. The death penalty should be decided based on several factors, not just race or sexuality.

Problem with that is, you have to prove the intent of the murder had something to do with race or sexuality. Intent is hard to prove without reasonable doubt.

I think anyone that kills anyone should be put to death. Life imprisonment only gives the impression that somehow the killer's life is more valuable than the victim(s) he or she took life from!

Yeah, you are right. If a black guy kills a white woman or a white man, he should definately get the death penalty.

I think george bush should get the death penatly along with condi rice. they should be held on treason for supplying the enemy with money. They are paying ensugants for being nice.
