Any broker should be willing to do the transaction. I take it these shares are in hand, so you'll probably have to go in person to take care of it. Any reputable brokerage can handle this for you, but you might take advantage of a discount broker in your area.

If they are open ended mutual funds, you do not have to use a broker at all. Just call the mutual fund company and redeem them. That is all there is to it.

If it is a closed end mutual fund, you will indeed require a broker.

ask Scottrade if they wil take the transfer, then what is the fee ?
I understand it to be $7
