After learning how to spell, try a lot of computer courses. Art classes might be helpful too if you're going into the image design in video games.

English, for one. People in any industry, speak their own language. You need to know about the equipment, programs and other areas involved with video games. You would need to go to a technical school, I believe but finish high school first. Speak to your counselor there, that's what they are there for. To help steer you through your acedemic career.

Try to get ahead in math and take college level calculus. If you study computer programming in college they won't let you start until you take advanced calc, so if you take it in hs it will be much easier, and you will do better in the programming classes. programming is hard, I was a computer science major, i know.

I would say stick with computer based classes, and ignore other people talking their sh*t when as you can tell most of them cant spell themselves. It's internet lingo for some of you who don't get it.
