Because the media is so concerned. Young girls feel very pressured to be perfect and to look just like the girls in the magazines and on the movies. On young girl wants to be different in any way.

Ive never been concerned about the size of my breasts-they were very well developed when i reached my teens!
I am now 35 years old and love the fact that i have curves in all the right places.

I think women of all ages worry about what their breasts look like. When we reach a certain age, then we are no longer worried about their size but more so their LOCATION. :) To answer honestly, though, I would say that this preoccupation with their bodies is the result of young girls constantly being exposed to anorexic-looking models on tv, in magazines, etc. They believe that their worth is based on how they look. It's sad, and it's amazing that 13-year-old girls don't ALL have eating disorders.

Its a stero-type thing...as soon as men see BIG (.)(.)s they go mad, whether it just to be with the in crowd or not they go mad.
It's also to do with what we all see in magazines, that once someone had a boob job their life changed for the better or whatever reason...the bigger the boobs the more publicity they get.
If magazines and news papers weren't so caught up in the size of womens boobs, most of us wouldn't need to feel insecure about how our boobs look.
If an emphasis was made on smaller boobs rather than larger boobs things would be different.

Society makes the size of breasts an issue. Breasts of any size is a part of a woman and all women should be satisified with their natural size.

One word; MEDIA.
These days, there are billboards, mags, tv, music videos, songs blah blah blahh that talks & shows the "perfect" women that has right size of boobies, booties, skinny waist, full lips, big eyes, blah blah blah, you name it. So everyday, women are busy wasting their time from tryna get as close to that "perfect women" image as much as possible and that`s what makes alot of many younger women/girls worry so much about their breast size & many other things. They think that their body, including breast size makes them less attractive since all the "medias" are all out there talking about "the perfect type of body."

Because women are usually never satisfied with the size of their (God-given) breasts. It doesn't matter what anyone else says, it's how the woman feels about it. American culture has done a lot of harm to women in regards to how they feel about their bodies, particularly their breasts.

I hate mine they are to big, you can not have a normal conversation with some one with out them mentioning the size of my boobs. its really gets on my nerves. And its not just men its women to even strangers have to mention it as well. But i suppose its all to do with the way we are supposed to look how the media percieves all women should be slim with no breasts and if you have the smallest amount of a curve your fat.

Because it has to do with body image. Boobs that are too big make you look fat. Boobs that are too small make you look boyish. And guys like boobs that are not too big, not too small. So if you have what you consider to be too big or too small, you think that no guy will ever want to date you. If you're larger chested, you also get nasty sexual comments from immature guys who think you're "easy" just because of your bust size...also they think you're older than what you really are, b/c of it...
Body image is so important to young girls these days largely because of the influence by the media...by rail-thin models and actresses who have "perfect" bodies...you see perfectly proportioned girls in magazines and on tv...and it makes us unhappy with our own bodies b/c we feel that we have to measure up to them...
Those are reasons why, in my opinion...
