I have a '03 honda 350 rancher and the oil is backing up into the air filter, maybe through a overflow.?

blow-by the rings, time for a overhaul :(

Crankcase over filled with oil. Check the oil level. The crankcase vent tube goes into the airbox.

It is getting sucked up there you need to to check for a plugged crankcase vent tube.
