I keep asking this. :) When setting up the voice mail on my cellphone, I was asked by the lady with the nice voice if I wanted to turn "out call notification" on or off. I can't find an explanation of what "out call notification" even is. Does ANYBODY KNOW??? I'm putting this question in the "society and culture" category since cellphones are an important part of society. :)

The outcalling feature on your voice mailbox gives callers the option of notifying you that they have left a message in your mailbox. Typically, this done by entering a pager telephone number in the paging schedule (outcall notification) section of your voice mailbox. Depending on your instructions, the voice mail system will signal your pager (or in your case phone) after the caller leaves a message.

it's were your name & # is displayed when you call another person. if you select "no" then it'll come up bocked call, or privet caller.
