No, I don't hate innocent people.

The slaveowners are long dead.

I do, however, loathe the racists that try to keep hatred alive.

In New Zealand we didn't have slavery but we did buy the entire country off the Maori's for a couple of blankets and a barrel of booze and they still hold a grudge because of that, I still hold a grudge against the Norweigans because my great, great, great, great, great, great, great, grat, great uncle was enslaved by Erik the Viking.

I shouldn't even attempt to answer this cause I'm a white guy, but my guess is that the anger isn't about slavery, but the years of neglect and mistreatment AFTER slavery, and before civil rights, and since!...

I'm black, and I don't. I can only speak forr myself and my family and all the black people I know. I never heard a black person say, "those damn white people better pay me some money fo all the work my ancestors did for free for their ancestors" I mean, who ever really thinks this is just ridiculous.

People seem to forget that it was THEIR OWN people who sold them into slavery in the first place.
