George Bush said the US went to war in Iraq because Saddam Hussein might possibly maybe could be trying to make nookyuler* weapons. Saddam said that no, he did not have any. George Bush said yes he did. So, the US invaded Iraq and never found any. Now, North Korea says it has nookyuler bombs, waves them in Bush's face, and even blew one up, yet George Bush cowers in a corner and says we will not invade North Korea, no, no, no we will not, even though North Korea really does indeed have nookyuler weapons. What is wrong here? Why was George Bush in such a hurry to invade Iraq on a fake made-up excuse but will not go anywhere near North Korea which really IS launching missiles and blowing up nookyuler bombs? Can anyone else see the hypocrisy and inconsistency here? What's going on?

I might be dumb and stupid, and people might call me a moron, but this does not make sense even to me.

*"nookyuler" is the term used by Bush

The possibility of nukes - in the future - was one of many reasons for military action in Iraq. Bio weapons and chemical weapons (which had been used before), and the imperialistic intent of Saddam, not only over Kuwait, but much of the Arabian peninsula were more pertinent. The support for terrorists such as paying the families of suicide, Saddam's own claims of having WMD, the mass killings of Iraqi people all added to the reason for action. He was an active threat to many in the area.

Meanwhile over in North Korea you have a bellicose tantrum throwing tyrant in a nation with 2 light bulbs. Ever see that night time satellite view of the world? Yes he did something with the nuke technology Clinton gave him but it sure wasn't powering up a third light bulb. Should we take military action? Maybe. But not in a rash knee-jerk reaction. Seoul South Korea is about 30 miles away. North Korea has a 1 million man army. There have not been 17 UN resolutions ignored. All in all a different situation, a different threat, so a different approach.

Alred surprised your not leaving up to your credo DON'T WORRY. Mad satirical wit lives on, as question too obvious to answer gets asked.
