What the hell kind of a question is this? NO he didn't commit suicide. He had a 6 yr old son,a beautiful wife and a twin brother,He only just learned how to fly, He really didn't have that much experience behind the wheel. He never should have been behind the wheel,he didn't have enough hrs in of training,That's what CNN news said.He was going home to visit his family. It was an untimely accident. As for being discraced,i heard him on MIKE AND THE MADDOG YESTERDAY THEY WERE INTERVIEWING HIM.MADDOG ASKED HIM WHAT HE WAS DOING,,HE SAID HE WAS ENJOYING A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN NY,THAT"S WHEN S__T HIT THE FAN.MIKE SAID TO HIM,,HOW CAN YOU BE ENJOYING A DAY IN NY,WHEN ALL THE NY YANKEE FANS ARE HOME,,DEPRESSED, AND SAD,BECAUSE THE YANKEES DIDN"T COME THROUGH AGAIN!!! HE SAID THE SERIES WAS OVER AND IT WAS TIME TO MOVE ON,,,REALLY!!!! HE DIDN"T SEEM TO CARE ONE BIT ABOUT LOSING THE SERIES,,ALOT OF WORDS WERE EXCHANGED BETWEEN HIM,AND MIKE,,AND MADDOG.NOW TONIGHT MIKE AND MADDOG ARE VERY UPSET ABOUT THE INTERVIEW,BEFORE THE INTERVIEW ENDED,,CORY SAID TO THEM,,I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO GO OUT TO LUNCH WITH YOU GUYS,,SO YOU COULD SEE THAT I"M REALLY NOT A BAD GUY.. THEY TOLD HIM,,THEY COULDN"T CARE LESS ABOUT GOING TO LUNCH WITH HIM.
AND THAT THEY DIDN"T THINK MUCH ABOUT HIM,,IT REALLY WAS SAD!!

why should people get upset over losing a series as a player, just because the fans are whining over the loss?

I agreed with Lidle, the series is over, it's time to get ready for a new season. No reason to go sulk and mope about a loss, try to make excuses and point fingers. Just move on and enjoy things.

If I was a multi-million dollar pitcher I would have lots of reasons to enjoy the day, anyway.

It's a damn shame he's gone.

My first thought was sabotage. Some nutjob Yankee fan tried to kill Lidle for pitching poorly, knowing how much he likes to fly.

No, but I'm sure A Rod or Joe Torre had a lot to do with it. I hate how the Yankees are done for the year, yet thats all everyone talks about. Its sad he died, but the Yankees suck.

No. I think It was a terrible accident. I feel that he couldn't have stopped it in time. And for a moment think about the good he was to the team not him losing. He made mistakes just like everybody else.

No! Do you think he was such a horrible person that he would commit suicide and want to take other people out with him like a terrorist? Give me a break! It was just an accident.

no, I think it was an accident. Don't forget he wasn't alone, which would make doing it deliberately all the more serious. He was a very green pilot, and made green pilot mistakes.
