its called breech....depending on the size of the baby it can be delivered vaginally, or the doctor can turn it around, or a c-section.

It is called breech. There are 2 different breech positions. One is: Frank breech- which is when BOTH of the babies legs are up against his body, although the knees are bent (baby is curled up). Second is: Footling breech - which is when one or both of the legs are out stretched.
I personally have had one of each, neither was delivered c-section. My oldest (frank-breech) weighed only 7# 2 oz. But the other (footling) weighed 9# 3 oz. !!! OUCH!!! My labor was too fast for a c-section. They were both too far down into the birth canal. Why do you ask?

When a baby is born feet first, it is said that the baby is born breech. So breech birth would be the term.

Breech and it hurts real bad if they are born like that. They will usually do a section. Unless it is a real small baby.

Breech. It can vary by the position too. Feet first, butt first or leg first. All of them are usually delivered by C-Section. Especially if it is really close to the dure date.

It's breech. Two of my 3 babies were buttocks breech. I had all via Cesarean.
