I don't think all the bombings in Iraq are directly caused by the U.S. military, but if our troops weren't there I wouldn't be wondering to what extent the bombings have been inspired or made possible by their presence. I'm not sure how the discoveries of tortured, dead bodies or dead children would be an argument for keeping our troops there permanently. Unfortunately, I think these things will go on for a long time whether we're there or not. The withdrawal of U.S. troops might be as likely to reduce violence as increase it, but I would hope that we would try to find a way to make reparations in Iraq for all the damage we caused and allowed.

Having spent quite a bit of time in Iraq myself I can tell you that there is a mix of American led and Iraqi led bombings. I worked as a medic near Baghdad, and I would honestly say that I worked on equal numbers of casualties that were hurt by both sides. I personally felt the effects of no less than 2 mosque explosions and 4 car bombs by Iraqis (no Americans involed whatsoever)....ending in many, many deaths. To say that we as Americans are purposelfully killing Iraqis to give us an excuse to stay in the country is a ludicrous concept.

Pay attention to the world once in a while. Saddam gassed the Kurds in Northern Iraq. The Sunni's kept the Shiite's in check for a long time. It's one religions sept killing another. They are NOT the same people. Three different religious groups in the same country and each thinking the others are infidels. Next............

You are an idiot. Become more educated on the subject before posting question like this. For one, there has been a religious civil war going on sense before Saddam Hussein has been in power. They have a huge hatred between each other, the Shiites and Sunnis. Second, Al Qaeda started the civil war between the two religious sects so uneducated dullards like you would think things like this.

I'm in the U.S. and I can assure you I didn't have anything to do with it. Don't lump me in with those homicidal maniacs.
