i went to Bolivia, my birth country. I went to Cochabamba which is the city where I was born. It was beautiful but very sad. The little ones roaming the street at night with no paretns really breaks a person's heart. The skies were loaded with stars that you just do not see here anymore and the mountains were gorgeous. The music was filled with talent and energy. All in all, it's a great place to go. If you do, be prepaed to experience altitude sickness. Drink coca tea, it's not the drug, and it will help relieve your illness.

Monday. Ireland. Just got back. I married an Irishman (27 years) and after the divorce he wanted to move back. Now he is dying and the kids and I all flew over last week to say our goodbyes. That was probably the last time I'll visit. I'll miss the challenge of driving with everything on the wrong side, and I'll miss the great beer...but I won't miss the rain and the Irish "cuisine."

I've been living in another country for two years, Italy, because my husband is Military and we're stationed here. But I have visited a lot of other countries since we moved to Europe, and the last one was Greece, and it was in September. Very Beautiful Country!!!

About 7 months ago.I went to France,Italy,Spain,Tunisia,Portugal,and Greece.I was living in Ireland for 13 years and when I made the decision to move back home(Australia).I decided to visit my favourite countries in Europe again,as I might not ever get a chance like that again.I didn't visit all of them at once.I would visit one country and then go back to Ireland for a few weeks,and then visit another.

Last time I visited another country was over 50 years ago.
I was in Greenland for a year and than after that the other country was Texas. :>)

I was in Egypt this past June (6/11/06). Was on vacation, cruise on Nile, Valley of the Kings, Luxor, Karnak...the list goes on. If your thinking of traveling, that's an amazing place. Its very tourist friendly and I felt safer there than I do here. To get in to hotel, museum, temple...anywhere, you have to go thru metal detector and your bag/purse in x-ray machine. There are tourist police everywhere ...so its very safe. No words can explain how amazing it is to stand in front of a pyramid let alone enter one.
