We had numbers or initials instead of names? Seems I hear a lot of people who use the name to make fun of the people, like "Jamal," "Ahmad," "Todd," etc. If somebody only had different color skin and was "IBC924" would they seem less different?

I dont think so, probably there would be groups of numbers wich reflects some privileges, i.e. the first series from 1 to 1000 0000 could say that they are older or that are identified with a region of the earth. Belive me, humankind always will look for disctintion. It is not possible to have a society where everybody is equal.

No, I think that having numbers instead of names would create a huge dissconect. If you named your puppy ITZHAK89076, instead of a regular name, you may not have as much of an attachment to your puppy.
