first of all it isnt dire to seal granite. granite isnt that porous of a stone. unless its a light color. if you absolutely want/need to do this and your not being suckered into it find a penetrating sealer such as majic seal and silox 8 for heavens sake go to a specialty tile store and not the depot. repeat 2nd coat of sealer in about 6 weeks after first coat.... i work at a tile store. dont go to depot/ lowes for it you get what you pay for in life this is no time for a good deal.never seal ceramic tile it has no pores and will pool and look gross. dont listen to the first chick or her dad

Go to your local home improvement store to the tile section, and buy something called granite and ceramic tile sealer. Just follow the simple directions on the package. My dad has been a tile setter for yrs, and I've heard him tell people the same thing many times when they'd call him for advice.
