Napoleonic Wars - Imperial, Greed, Domination
Prussian Wars - Self-Determination, Creation of a State, Repelling an invader

The British Empires Many Wars - Greed, Imperial Glory, Colonies.



No, religion isn't that important a factor in the majority of the Europes wars, at least not in the period between the late-middle ages up to the modern era. Does that destroy your question?

Very few (if any) wars in history have been about religion.

They're about money/territory/resources/power.

Religion is just an excuse for some of them.
