Republicans claim to be pro life, but Bush didn't sign the kyoto treaty. Global Warming could kill hundreds of thousands.

Republicans claim that they didn't sign Kyoto because it would be bad for the economy. How would the economy perform if hundreds of thousands died?

Sounds foolish right?

I have a feeling that republicans would much rather toddle around in their Ford Suburbans.

They wouldn't save someone's life if it affected them!

Maybe they just don't care about global warming as it won't occur in their lifetime.

But I thought they were pro life?!

Try to stay focused will you. It's not in this Nations interests to be sign on to the Kyoto Accord, especially since 2 of the biggest polluters (India and China) are to be exempted.

The Kyoto Accord will do nothing to prevent or slow down "global warming" since it's a natural event just like the Ice Age we're currently just about due for. If you really want to slow down the "green house" effect then why don't you and the other whiny liberal outlaw Volcanic Eruptions since those do more damage in a week's time than man has done in 5000 years.

The Suburban is a General Motors product.

"being "pro life" has nothing to do with Global Warming or the Kyoto Accord.

He did not sign it for the same reason Bill Clinton did not sign it. It is not an environmental treaty it is a treaty to bring parity in the economies of the different countries of the world the architects of the agreement admitted to this.

If Kyoto was about the environment why are countries like China allowed to continue to pollute. Does the globe only warm if the pollution comes from the USA?

Kyoto would destroy the country if it were signed. Even the most liberal president would not sign it.

I will leave it up to you and your pharmacist as to how you managed to twist this into a pro life question. Tell your doctor you need more of some pills and less of others.

Well as soon as it is proven that global warming is occuring at an increased rate due to the effect of humans I'll start caring. The American public in general is not going to let go of their personal freedoms until it can be proven (i.e. driving cars). We only have the fact that the earth is warming and we have NO clue wy it is occuring. We are mearly guessing.

Right. Republicans are all evil and democrats are all good. Must be nice to live in Fantasyland. Most democrats would do or say anything to get a vote including selling the White House to Al-Quaida. President Bush is a real asshole because he won't destroy the US economy on something that may or may not help.
