Any of the people above who wrote that they prefer Chavez to Bush are entirely retarded. I am a Liberal also, but you people that side with Chavez over Bush clearly don't understand the world we live in. Bush has been called lots of names, and he got us into Iraq under false pretenses. I still don't blame him for Katrina, even though he gets blamed for it. It is not Bush's fault that North Korea has nukes, like Hillary Clinton says. Hillary and Bush both are right in saying that we have to stay in Iraq for a while longer.
Those people on the far left should start trying to see a more moderate point of view, because otherwise you lose credibility and focus too much on partisan lines, instead of the issues. THE FAR LEFT IS JUST AS DANGEROUS AS THE FAR RIGHT.
Any president, even Clinton, makes stupid mistakes. Though Bush's mistakes may have cost lots of lives, his administration has had to deal with the biggest domestic and foreign problems any administration has ever had to deal with, except Lincoln. Cut the man a little bit of slack. Bush may be stupid, but he certainly isn't the devil.
Chavez, on the other hand, is a psychopath. I don't know if he is the biggest "douche bag" in the world, but he's certainly in the running.

You have more than a virus. Chavez is popular in the UK, we've just signed a deal for cheap oil. George W can't speak English (even by American standards). Chavez can't speak Spanish because he's not Spanish, he's Venezuelan.
I suppose a world leader who's popular with his own people, popular around the world (Chavez didn't stop here, he's been to France, Germany, Japan & China too), and who doesn't invade countries for his daddy, is an enigma to Americans.
