Yes you can divorce in a different state - as long as it is your state of residence. You must file for divorce in the county where you reside at the time of the marriage break-up if you live in Indiana. Other states may also have residency requirements.

In order for a particular state to have "jurisdiction" over your divorce, one of the spouses needs to have lived in that state for a set period of time.
