One of my best friends is a super teen. She's gotten straight A's in kindergarten, has lots of friends, is super neat and organised, participates in everything, and is skinny.

I am the opposite :(

Whenver I talk to her, I feel unconfident about myself.

Whenver we fight, she always has more sense and proof

What am I to do!?!?
I am the opposite :(

Doesn't sound like she's a best friend to me...

You should stop comparing yourself to her. You are wasting energy that could be spent being your own unique person.

You are envious of outward qualities. Why not work on your own inner being. Learning how to make those around you feel loved and accepted.

She's not perfect, she has problems just like everyone. People tire of people who are so into themselves that they don't realize they are hurting others like yourself....

You are special and unique accept that and find your own happiness. Don't compare yourself to others. You are who you and cannot take on the persona of someone else.

Be yourself and smile, life is to be enjoyed and lived....

firstly, don't compare yourself to you friend -- don't compare yourself to anyone. You're not them, remember that. And also remember that you're unique (so who you are isn't the opposite to that perfect girl, it's someone who makes that girl the complete opposite to you).

secondly, if you think your friend has more sense and proof when you argue, then maybe she's right. It's possible. Even if it isn't though, you shouldn't feel threatened by that or made to feel insecure. your friend seems to know who she is, so if you wanna be like her maybe you should find out who you are.

thirdly, i would recommend that you find other friends who don't make you feel so insecure -- cause friends don't usually do that to you.

lastly, i think it's important you realise what you value and want you want in yourself -- if you're not happy with an aspect of yourself you can always change it. do you value good grades or popularity or skinniness OR do you value intelligence or good social skills or good health?

WRONG

You are not the opposite. You are different.

As a guy, in my case, I don't want the super smart super organized coughNEUROTICcough girlfriend.

Just relax. You are different. You can't compare yourself to her. If you get into a fight, so what if she has proof. If she has concrete real proof, use emotions. Use your mind. Just cause she gets A's doesn't mean you arent smart. It just means school does not perfectly match you.

I suggest you be yourself. It is all you can be, it is what all we can hope for.

There is nothing wrong with your friend, but you should think about yourself. What I mean is that you should focus on your own abilities and not complain to be different than your friend. Each of us have a special gift to share with humankind, I am sure you can find it by yourself.

don't worry...she may not be as perfect as you think...don't let her get you down.....think about all the stuff in your life that she doesn't have or isn't...and don't stop being her friend.....I mean if you like her don't just stop being her friend because she is better at stuff than you.....trust me, one day you will find something that you are better at than her...trust me...don't give up! = )
