my hamster just gave birth to 3 hamsters. i heard on yahoo answers how a lot of people kept their litter of baby hamsters together and they had a lot more hamsters. that's exactly wut i want. i want a lot of hamsters. don't worry i know where to take the hamsters, and i have a lot of people telling me that they want some& a pet store who wants them. is this okay. should i let them have more babies? I WANT THEM TO HAVE A LOT!!!!!!!

you should sell some of them to the pet store, and ask that the pet store trade some of theirs for some of yours for free. that way you will have healthier hamsters because they won't all be inbreds.

I screamed when I read this.
Are you kidding me?! I have hamsters. Inbreading (breeding relatives) is so rong. You end up killing the parents and the bebies. It is so cruel. People who breed like this and inbreed have no clue what they are doing. They don't even take the animal's well being into consideration. They are so self centered. All they think about is the fun of it. The point is would you have a baby with your sibling? Your parents? NO! Think hard about this and read about it on the net people here jut don't seem to know what they are doing. I am sooooo sorry sencerly sorry if I sound rude but I am a true animal lover, especially hamsters. If you haven't noticed 99% of my answers are about hamsters. All of them I put my heart into answering. I don't do it- yes. no- they are smellly- I give a well thought out answer. P.S all good hamster breeders know not to breed pet store hamsters. you need to get them from breeders so there are no birth defects.

When I was a little girl my hamsters multiplied faster than I would've ever imagined, but make sure when you clean out the "bedding" not to touch while the baby's eyes are still closed. What happened to me was the mother ate her own litter, I was so upset, then my vet told me the smell of my hands in the cage & on the bedding was one of the reason that happened. Are you sure you really want lots of hamsters ? What if they end up in some stupid *** research lab, is that what you would want for those little once, 'cause people do such nasty stuff just to make a couple of bucks & that is horrible, no animal should end up in such place, I hope you are a responsible pet owner. Please make sure you hamsters will have a good home.

There is nuthing wronge.
HERES AN IDEA....
buy another boy hamster.
let it breed the baby girl hamsters.
Let the mom breed with the new boy.
And let thoughs babys breed with the moms babies.
I hope that wasnt to confusing!LOL
Do that so they have a better background.

Yes you can keep her previous babies with the new ones. One of the major problems with doing so is that the older babies will move the new babies and the mother will need to keep fetching them. Also, I recommend removing the dad. He will not hurt the babies but the mother might hurt him. SHE WILL NOT HURT HER OLDER BABIES USUALLY.
