i am not blaming lumphard for tonights result! that was a bad team performance(again), but lumphard just aint never done it for england!!

This really bugs me!! Gerrard is a far better player than Lampard in the centre of midfield. So why does Mclaren make Gerrard the scapegoat & play him out wide on the right. I know Gerrard is capable of playing anywhere but why should his best playing position be taken away just to accomodate Lampard. Get Gerrard back in the centre of midfield even if it is at the expence of Lampard!!!!!!

If you look back over the qualifying campaign for the World Cup 2006 you will notice that Lampard was Englands leading goal scorer, so yes i think he is worth his place in the England team. It was only 2 years ago he was the second best player in the world behind Ronaldinho. Form is temporary, class is permanent. Gerrard is not playing to the same level he did last year but no one is questioning his inclusion in the England team. Lampard's problem is he scored a lot of goals last season and now everyone marks his performances on how many goals he scores. He is not a striker, so he shouldn't be judged on his goal scoring that is Rooney and Crouch's job. Maybe the question is Should Crouch be in the England squad and the answer is NO.

its like asking if my 10 yr old brother is worth a place.. NNOOO... u know v hve given lampard enough chances for him to rise and all he does is fall into deeper ****.. he's there coz of chelsea.. chelsea's not only ruining the prem.. they are also ruining the england team.. i dont understand y all the chelsea players are given importance.. kick 'em out if they cant play.. let them buy the prem title evry yr..as long as the football fans know that they are dumb..i'm fine.. but y suck the nat team's performance.. lampard should be kicked out so that he knows he has to show consistency in his performance.. So my ans: NOO..NEVA..

It's not just Lumphard,everyone in that team is playing so bad this days.They are not haveing a team play,once more they show that are overrated,overpaid so called stars who are playing only for a money not for a victory.Little countryes are playing for much less money than tnem but thay play with theyre hearts and a wish to win,so with that motivation thay can beat anyone not just England.

To me Lampard is an arrogant fellow who thinks because he plays for Chealsea things will go his way he is not worth an England place

We have to leave him out for a while, he has become a makeweight, desperate to score from anywhere to justify his place in the side. While Tosser Mclaren accomodates him he'll have no room in the team for a right sided wide player

A few months ago you all though he was 'world class'.
He plays in 'the best league in the world' therefore he must be the best striker in the world and England should never lose a game.

do not blame lampard for to nights result Gerard is way over rated he cannot even get his place in the centre of Liverpool's mid field
and lets face it they are mid table team whilst Chelsea r reigning champions plus lamps is ever present personally I'm Irish and id like to see frank out of the England side and be fresh for the blues premiership triple

Not a chance. He is only worth anything when he is scoring. Why would you play him in center instead of Gerrard?
