Headaches can be caused by many different things. First to make you feel better, it is very rare for the cause of headaches to be anything serious or life threatening.

Being dehydrated will cause headaches. Drink water or more fluids. Stress and anxiety will cause headaches. Lay down and deep breath and relax. Sinus problems will cause headaches around the eyes, forehead and maybe the temples. You may be having migranes. Light, noise and some foods will bring one on. That brings me to another possiblity, allergies can cause headaches.

A good note: Headaches can come and go. Sometimes there is no explanation. Headaches are very common and one of the top complaints people have. Backaches are on that list also.

I suggest drinking more fluids, get good sleep, eat when you should and go ahead and take advil for your pain. Eat some crackers and drink plenty of water to protect your stomach when you take the pills.

Good Luck. If the pain gets worse tell your parents.

It could be Just hormones fluctuating, or stress, or a number of simple little things. However, I know your already concerned, and not to scare you, but a girl in my community had been having headaches for a while, and so she went to the doc, and she had this tumor in her brain that was huge! Also, their was a guy I graduated with who had back pain from like the time he was 10, but it was never awful, then at about 19, it got out of control, he went to go get it checked and he had a cancerous tumor entwined in the nerves along his spine, and had they had him checked earlier, he probably could have avoided all the intensive treatments he has to do now! Take excedrin migrane, it really does help, and I have not had any crazy side effects, and Ive taken um as needed for a while! If that doesn't help, then go to the doc on your own, I promise you can do it w/o your mom and dad!

Whoever said that Tylenol will not hurt your STOMACH is right. it will, however, crystallize your LIVER if you take too much for an extended period of time. I am by no means a medical doctor, but have had a lot of experience around the world of science and medicine. I have heard taht it is ok to take tylenol and ibuprofen together, but take them every two hours.
EXAMPLE
12-tylenol
2-ibuprofen
4-tylenol
6-ibuprofen

Also, make a list of all the foods that you eat and when you eat them and when you get head aches. Look for relationships. I had to stop eating plain french fries, because they give me terrible headaches. So it may be in your lifestyle. You may have to change.

Have your eyes checked out- you may need glasses or a new prescription. headaches can be bought on by the eyes straining over a long period of time which ties in with you getting them in the evening. Are you on a computer all day? if so give your eyes a break form the flickering screen and go for a walk for some fresh air. You are legally entitled to 5 minutes away from the computer each hour. Use it! hope this helps.

If you have bad headaches, you need to see a doctor.
Look at your diet. Make sure your blood sugar levels are staying relatively stable. Eat several small meals instead of only a couple large ones. Careful with that or you'll get fat.
Sleep for eight complete hours every night.
Work out and try not to use the drugs. Do as much natural remedy as you can, and the drugs only prn (as needed).
Don't freak out - it could be so much worse.
I would recommend a cranial massage. I am a therapist and I do those. They take away headaches better than a lot of things.

I suffer from migranes and done be afraid to take tylenol or advil as long as they are enteric coated they should not harm your stomach. Have some one give you a neck rub some headaches are caused by tension in your neck and also can be caused by dehydration try drinking some water also. If you get sensitive ti light and get dizzy with your headaches try to talk to your parents in taking you to the dr. to get migrane medicine. I take Imitrex it is expensive but immediate relief. Try the neck rub and drinking water first see how that goes..

Tylenol or Advil take longer time use for any danger, you should be fine to take them. You may have a sinus infection or just allergies - it is that time of year. My allergies are keeping me with headache. Should end shortly after a couple frost occurs if allergies.
Hope you feel better soon.

You need to see a doctor about the headaches. This is very important. Tylenol is safe if you follow the directions on the bottle. but make sure to get diagnosed by a doctor.

Try stretching your neck and shoulders, I'm sure they are tension headaches since you are too young to be high stressed.
A Massage could really help all you would need is a 30 minute Neck and Shoulder Massage see if your parents would allow you to do that it is all natural and WILL help!! Try some essential oils as well they have all natural blends for headache and sinus relief.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information
