That is a good question. I am predicting if he was not flying on that plane, he still be alive today. My answer is "yes", if the Yankees would have won and move on to the AL Championship Game Cory Lidle would have been to practice, instead of flying on the plane doing sight seeing.

As much as i hate to say it, if the yankees had won cory lidle would be alive because he would be playing A's not flying his plane. It just sad That the yankees playoff elimination resulted in a death.

Yes he would of, bc lets recap, the reason he was flying the plane was bc he was going back home to california after the season ended, so therefore if the yanks had won the division series cory lidle, would still be in action..

Please tell me that you don't SERIOUSLY believe that Cory crashed his plane into a building ON PURPOSE. Please!!! You know, I was afraid someone would ask a question like that.

In response to your question though, I'm going to assume that you weren't suggesting anything like that. Yes, I suppose that IF the Yankee's had won then Cory would have been occupied with team activities and perhaps might still be alive.

But...when your time is up...it's up. I don't know the reasons why, but God always has a plan and a purpose. My heart goes out to his family.

That is a good question because had the Yanks won the series, the odds are that Corey would have been too busy still working to have the free time to be flying. Then again, maybe today was just Corey's day, time was up. Maybe the only difference would have been a heart attack on the field. One never knows.

i examine that a member of the Yankees employer develop into on board and that FAA information tutor the airplane develop into registered to yankee pitcher cory lidle, despite if it did no longer necesarily say that he develop into on the airplane.

we could sit here for hours talking about the what ifs but that wouldn't really change a thing at a moment like this. God wanted cory lidle closer to him i guess...

Maybe, but then again maybe it was his time to go. He woulnd't have died that way though. I can't imagine the Yankees letting him fly a small plane during the playoffs(or even the season) espically with the game being TONIGHT. Now if they would let him I can't imagine them doing it game night as the series was set and the game would have been tonight even if the Yankees were playing. Ok now if he STILL died then it might not be tonight, but the series schedule was set for it to be.

Yeah, I guess so. He wouldn't be flying that plane if the Yankees would've won the division series. He would be preparing for the upcoming games, right?

Yes, I said the same thing as soon as I saw what happened. As I see it, this never would have happened. Only time in my life I will ever say that I wish the Yankees had won it.
