There was a story in one paper this morning about a Kuwait Air plane which was struck by lightning and an engine caught fire.

Aircraft are made to be struck by Lightning!
The Fuselage distributes the charge and has little or No Affect on Instrumentation or Crew!
Maybe if it was re-fueling at the time-That May cause problems!

no, live nearby, not seen any lightening . and its not been on local news either
