That sounds good to me.
I like cornbread with butter and berry preserves (stawberry, blackberry or raspberry preserves). I like succotash or mixed whole corn and peas. Maybe some applesauce (especially if the main entree is pork chops). Breaded chicken is always nice as the entree. Lemonade (with ice cubes) is a good drink unless the weather has turned cool.
Corn bread also goes great with chili!

This was something I picked up living in TN with my grandparents...but I would break up cornbread in a bowl and pour milk over it. It was the only way I could eat it but only because my grandma never made the sweet cornbread...it was always that bland cornmeal and I gotta have the sweet stuff!

Bush bean and knockwurst...I used to prefer home made beans but Bush does a great job in this department. I always says if someone else can do it better, buy theirs, so I do. Can live without them, really. Thanks, I think I'll fix that for tomorrow nights supper now that you brought it up..

Stew goes well with corn bread too. A glass of corn bread and milk is mighty good!

I like to take a hot bowl of chili, sprinkle cheese into it and then crumble the corn bread on top... mmm, tasty.

Ham and beans with sweet pepper rings in it (pour a little of the juice in too) and fried potatoes. I like to crumble my cornbread in with my ham and beans and eat it that way. Yummy!
