they are all over in Florida where I grew up, but don't see em much in Texas

No, I wish we did. My sister used to shop at a Piggly Wiggly in Cary, NC, but it's not there anymore. I live in the north and we don't have that chain.

No, but in TN where my grandma lived there was a Piggly Wiggly there and yes we shopped there.

I even have been soliciting for that very element. When I lived in Wisconsin we had them, and I shopped at one often - best white bread around. I still crave it.

No it doesnt. We have an E.W. James &Sons, but they are going out of buisiness all over Lexington.
