If there is a twenty twenty match between Asia eleven and world eleven and the teams are :

Asia Eleven:
1- Sachin Tendulkar 2- Shahid Afridi 3- Sanath Jayasuria 4- Mahela Jayawardene 5- Inzamam-ul-Haq 6- M S Dhoni 7- Abdul Razaq 8- Irfan Pathan 9- Shoib Akhtar 10- Chaminda Vass 11- Muttiah Muralitharan.

World Eleven:
1- Adam Gilchrist 2- Hershall Gibbs 3- Ricky Ponting 4- Stephen Fleming 5- Brain Lara 6- Michael hussy 7- Andrew Flintoff 8- Bret Lee 9- Shane Bond 10- Makhaya Ntini 11- Steve Harmison.

I've chosen my best players so plzz don't mind if I have misses ur favourite players.

How did u think so deeply to choose the best players in the world. I would say that u r a genius.
It would b a gr8 match but I will go with the Asia eleven box they have gr8 hitters and all rounder and I'm sure if they are chasing, they Can easily chase the target of 230. U've chosen all the fast bowlers for World eleven but in 20/20 games fast bowlers can't stop the runs. World eleven has the best players in the world bur Asia eleven has the best hitters in the world like: Sachin, Afridi, Jayasuria, Dhoni, Razaq etc.
So I would say Asia Eleven is gonna b win this gr8 and superb match.

Well you probably have 6 of the finest top order one day batsman of the last decade in each of the top 3 orders. But Asia will win because I have to say you've probably picked a more favourable Asian side.
I mean if you wanted to pick a good rest of the world team you would never pick harmison in a million years as a odi player he'll get hit all over the park.
If you replaced him with Pollock or preferably McGrath both very accurate bowlers and got rid of slow paced Fleming with a big hitter like Kemp, Symonds or Pieterson then you might have a team who could defeat the mighty Asians.

With this new team dont forget you probably have the 3 best fielders in the world which counts alot (Gibbs, Hussey, Ponting).

So my gut feel is that even without a decent slower bowler this new w11 would defeat Asia because of its stronger mentality and perhaps not because of its more talent or composition.

well the asias r definately gona win...but i do have some reservations over the team selection. First of all, it is better to have Sehwag in the side, then MAhela Jayawardene..because remmber it is a 20-20 game, n v already have sachin n inzi in the team 2 back enough of class!! Irfan pathan for me might not b a good choice as i feel v now need a genuine bowler in the 20-2- game, than an all rounder!! as we alrady have plenty of all rounders in the team like razzaq, jayasuria, afridi, sachin n vaas!! they all can bat quite welll!! therefore there is enough space for a bowler as i expect these batsmen not to get all out in 20 0vers!! Mohammad Asif would be myc hoice instead of pathan...and sehwag will replace jayawardene!!

for the world eleve..to me there r selection lapses (looks like u hires kiran more for selecting this one :p)!! /now, i dont fina plac for fleming, when v have lara n ponting up the order!! how can v miss Chris gayle??? where is pietersen??? remember this team has 2 score quick runs...just see the strength of the opponents..i wil have chris gayle in place of fleming...n pietersen for mike hussey!! Harmisoo n lee both can not contain the other side..pace of lee should be helped with the steady figure of Mc Grath...HArmison can be left out!! u cant play a team without a genuine spinner...chris gayle is there...but hes not that genuine...look at the other team..having murali, afridi, sachin!! Now v have 2 find some place 4 vettori...ill replace ntini with him now the bowling attack of flintoff, Mcgrath,Bond, n Symonds n Vettori forms a formidable attack!! n n it adds to the batting options as well!!! v have 2 hav Symonds in place of Bret Lee..v already have enough class n pace with shane bond...!! Symonds is a match winner!!! Team Asia will win anyhow!!!

Well according to the side you have given it clearly shows that World eleven has strong bowling attack. Pace of Bond, Lee, Harmison. Swings of Flintoff and bounce of Ntini.
In batting we have some one like Gibbs, Ponting, Fleming
who are not regular heaters. They can heat but they cant heat everyday like Dhoni, Afridi. So World XI have bit strong but not pacy attack.

Now about Asia eleven.
In batting we have Tendulkar, Afridi, Jayasuriya, Inzamam, Dhoni, Razzaq, Pathan wow.. this is strong and pacy attack. We have here 5-6 all rounders Like Tendulkar, Afridi, Jayasuriya, Pathan, Vaas, Razzaq. So there is a quite depth in attack in terms of batting. So even W 11 having strong bowling attack these gays can face it. And it's just matter of 20 overs man.

At last having Akhtar, Murali, Pathan, Vaas, Razzaq being regular bowlers with some of Jayasuriya, Afridi and Tendulkars it's a decent bowling attack too.

Fro, my analysis I think ASIA ELEVEN would definately won a twenty20 match. [ yes twenty20, not test]

It depends on where the match will be played. If it's in Asia then ASIA XI definitely win the match by their spin master murli. Oh! What team you selected for world...... they didn't got a spinner. For me a spin bowler is very important for a team.

If the match played outside Asia then you can't guess becuz Asian team too got a good bowling side. They have bwlers like Akhtar, Vass, Pathan , Razaq and most of all Murli who can spin the bowl every where in the world. But i think world XI got better batting line up than Asia XI.

Wow,two excellent teams,it will be an excellent match. Cant choose between them really although i think the Asia teams bowlers are better suited to 20/20.....I think it will be a draw,haha.
