he has gay thoughts. in the stewie the untold story they thought that was going to be the last of family guy so they wanted to tie loose ends by kinda confirming that he is gay but not by using words. seth mcfarlen says that in the commentary of the dvd.

No he is not gay. In the episode where his grown up self goes back and time he meets him. He realizes he is a loner, with hardly any friends and a virgin. But not gay, he proceeds to help his older self lose his virginity. He then changes the past so he won't grow up to be such a loser however. He also has a crush on the "cookie girl" in one episode.

I always wondered that myself. He does seem to be a little "soft in the hips" if you ask me. I would not be surprised if he really is gay. Stewie will always rock!!! :):):)

He kinda swings both ways, but mostly I think he's just gay-curious. Mostly because it's funnier. He did have hetrosexual moments in other seasons, though.
