Since 2000, they have gone to several post season series and have gotten nowhere. Although they LOST, making it to the post season so many times is in fact quite impressive. So, they are kind of the best LOSERS in baseball. Right?
Just like the Atlanta Braves in the 1990's: many failed post season series. They were the best losers of the decade.

making the playoffs year in year out makes a team winners not losers...they are still the team with the most titles and the fact that they havent won a title in 6 years doesnt diminish their accomplishments......high expectations are sometimes hard to live up to.....calling the yankees losers in this context is like calling tiger woods a loser for not coming in first 6 tournaments in a row...it just doesnt paint the right picture

Logically the 'best losers' would be the team that lost the most games.
Thus the Yankees would be the 'best team that did not win the pennant'.

No team is a better bunch of LOSERS than the Yankees. And Joe Torre is the worst manager in the game of baseball. Every year he is handed a dream team and every year he manages to F is up!!! the yankees suck. THE YANKEES SUCK!!!
