I just wanna add something to the post before me...
It is not true that if one UC accepts you, the others wont. So, you should apply to more than one UC. I got into berkeley, ucla, uc san diego, and uc davis. So, multiple UC can accept you!
And to your question, yes, USC is a good school (esp. medicine, that's what I heard), but it is kinda expansive...

I personally wouldn't recommend it (I'm biased... lol). This all depends on your grades, though. I hope you're really prepared for a UC. You've got to be selective when it comes to schools, so make sure you know your major, and then choose the most apropos school for you. If you're going in for the athletic program, go for it. If you're undeclared, you might want to look at some other colleges just in case. Think about UCLA, UC San Diego, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara, UC Irvine, or other private schools. Those are really the ones I hear about the most. I seldom every hear anything about USC, sooo.... you've got to make a decision based upon research, personal interest, and finance, NOT by asking us about what we think (since I've told you I'm skewed).

Note: Apply for the UC you want to get into the most *first* since I've heard that if one UC accepts you, the other UCs most likely won't. *shrugs*

it certainly relies upon on what your meant significant is. each so often the extra high priced inner maximum schools are no longer the main suitable for particular majors. each and all the Cal State and UC colleges contained in the section are very good often and USC is an exceptionally good college whether it is likewise very high priced to attend.

USC is always ranked in top 25 universities in the US. It also has excellent graduate programs. The only downside is that it is a private school, therefore, it is very expensive.
