It seems that a family head must have the right to set rules for the entire household, particularly if the members are minors and do not contribute financially. If the questioner cannot afford to live on her own, she should humbly ask forgiveness, abandon her troublesome behavior, and seek to please the family head in reasonable ways.

As a religion, Jehovah's Witnesses employ the internet for a wide range of practical and recreational purposes. However, as families and as individuals, they recognize that the congregation is the best place to enjoy upbuilding encouragement and association.

In addition, wise parents recognize that there are special dangers on the internet related to sexual predators and the relative naivete of inexperienced young people. There are many benefits for families who discuss the matter frankly, and who keep internet use by children to reasonable hour in shared areas of the home.

If you have nowhere to go and you live under someone's roof you also live under their rules. Talk to your mother if you are being safe and nothing is dangerous you are doing and try to get her to understand. If not check out staying with your sis. She was once there and knows what you are going through first hand. Or just stay off the computer. Tabbicat2006
